Every designer has a point of view. This project is where I started defining mine.

Goals:

  • Identify my most 4 valuable design principles

  • Integrate generative AI (Adobe Firefly) as a design tool

Prompt

A translucent butterfly formed entirely from flowing water, captured mid-flight. Its wings are made of clear, glass-like liquid with soft blue and aqua tones, detailed ripples and reflections, as if sculpted from splashing water.

Prompt

PS: started buildings layers in PS: copy & paste another one, used distort, uploaded the ocean waves file.

PS: added a figure, along with more visual blocks, and experimented further with their composition.

Layout & Composition

Future Improvements:

For this piece, I successfully combined imagery with key design principles. The butterfly, textured overlays, and geometric shapes work together to create a cohesive visual language. Moving forward, I would focus on improving visual balance and spacing.
